Steve Holmes
Attorney & Issuer
Steve is an attorney at SettlePou, PC in Dallas, with more than 42 years of experience representing entrepreneurial clients from formation through every stage of the business lifecycle. He provides corporate counsel to companies across a broad range of matters. Steve guides clients through the complexities of federal and state securities regulations, assisting them in raising capital through both private and public offerings. He also represents clients in asset and entity acquisitions, drafting and negotiating asset and equity purchase agreements across multiple industries, representing both buyers and sellers, and helps design and execute due diligence processes for prospective transactions. Steve earned his B.A. in Economics from Oberlin College and his J.D. from Southern Methodist University School of Law.
Bruce Miller
Research Geologist
Bruce Miller earned his Master of Science in Geology in 1983. He oversaw an extensive drilling program encompassing more than 100 wells across the Central Oklahoma Platform. He has consulted with numerous clients throughout eastern Oklahoma on geologic wellsite supervision and evaluation of oil and gas prospects within the Central Oklahoma Platform, generating multiple successful vertical oil and gas prospects in Payne, Lincoln, and Creek counties. Working alongside a geophysicist, he developed and executed a 3D seismic program covering over 100 miles to identify and assess drilling locations using 3D seismic data, geological mapping, open hole log analysis, mud logs, and vertical production history. He has also directed geologists and landmen through all aspects of spacing proceedings before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission and has contributed to the generation and development of both vertical and horizontal conventional and unconventional oil and gas projects throughout the Mid-Continent region.
Robert Pfannenstiel
Field Geologist
Bob Pfannenstiel launched his career as a wellsite geologist in July 1980 with Liberty Enterprises in Plainsville, Kansas. In April 1981, he relocated to Oklahoma to work as an independent consulting geologist. His expertise spans supervision of all drilling phases from spud to production casing. In 1987, he took on daily production management responsibilities for 60 producing oil and gas wells, overseeing all aspects of completion, recompletion, and installation of surface and downhole production facilities. Since 2008, he has consulted with industry partners on drilling and recompleting existing wells and production projects, with particular focus on re-evaluating recoverable reserves from mature, prematurely abandoned oil fields in Oklahoma and Kansas. He reassesses known reservoirs using historical production data and geological information combined with modern drilling and production technology, contributing to the recovery of over 750,000 barrels of oil and 2,000,000,000 cubic feet of gas.

Through our partnership with Tres, Trilateral Horizontal Program, LP gains proven operations leadership from the team that has project managed every multilateral Oswego well drilled in Oklahoma to date.
